Bedford Stuyvesant

When you rent in Bedford Stuyvesant, you'll be part of a diverse group of creative professionals, architects, students, artists and others in a neighborhood that's long stood as one of New York City's African American cultural centers. The neighborhood is marked by its many historic brownstones, many including interesting interior details and elements of classical architecture. In recent years, the neighborhood has seen the addition of many new galleries, wine bars, restaurants, bakeries and shops. Zagat currently rates more than 10 restaurants in the neighborhood. Recent growth has focused on the western and southern portions of the neighborhood, primarily west of Fulton Street.
